THE COURSE
The COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE course. THEORETICAL ASPECTS AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS aims
at the theoretical-practical study of cognitive neuroscience. Specifically, we will discuss
(i) technical, methodological and clinical aspects of the most important brain neuroimaging
and non-invasive neurostimulation techniques,
(ii) neuroscientific, clinical and forensic aspects of face recognition,
(iii) psychiatric neuroscience, with particular reference to schizophrenia.
The course is aimed at psychologists and doctors.
PROMOTERS.
The activity is promoted by the New Form soc coop arl and the School of Specialization in Psychotherapy of
Basilicata.

CLASSROOM
The training sessions will take place IN PRESENCE at the New Form classrooms.

THE STUDY AND THE TEACHER BODY
The activity is organized with morning and afternoon sessions lasting 4 hours during which
the theoretical lesson, the study of investigations and exercises coordinated by the teachers will alternate.
The course schedule is as follows:

Lessons will be conducted by Prof. DAVIDE RIVOLTA, psychologist and psychotherapist,
Ph.D. in cognitive science and Associate Prof. in “Psychobiology and physiological psychology” at the University of
Bari Aldo Moro. Author of dozens of international scientific papers, his research interests concern
neurophysiological basis of healthy and pathological human behavior (schizophrenia,
neurodegenerative diseases, and prosopagnosia).

FINAL CERTIFICATION
At the end of the training activity, the Participation Certificate will be delivered to the participants.

REGISTRATION
Registration takes place at the same time as the payment of the participation fee which is equal to € 120.00 (VAT
included). The fee must be paid in a lump sum by 3 June 2022 using one of the
following methods:
